Foreman
Location: Onsite
The Foreman will be responsible for overseeing all onsite operations for two commercial and industrial (C&I) solar projects in the Cleveland area. This role requires hands-on leadership and the ability to manage teams, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in C&I solar projects and a deep understanding of solar energy construction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all onsite activities for the assigned C&I solar projects.
- Oversee and coordinate the work of solar installation crews, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity standards are met.
- Review and interpret construction drawings, plans, and schedules.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and local building codes.
- Monitor daily construction activities to ensure adherence to project timelines and budgets.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve onsite issues and ensure smooth project progression.
- Maintain accurate records of site activities, materials, and labor usage.
- Assist with troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to solar installations.
- Coordinate equipment and material deliveries, ensuring efficient usage on-site.
- Report progress, issues, and updates to management regularly.
Requirements:
- 3 years of experience in a Foreman or supervisory role on C&I solar construction sites, preferred. Foreman experience on general construction also accepted.
- Proven experience in commercial and industrial solar energy projects.
- Strong knowledge of solar panel installation, electrical systems, and construction safety practices.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- OSHA 30 certification or willingness to obtain prior to employment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- NABCEP Certification.
- Experience with project management software and reporting tools, such as Procore.
