As our first Senior Full Stack Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our technology stack, designing effective solutions, and building scalable, high-performance web applications from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, testing, and deployment of database-driven web applications and eCommerce solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, create technical designs, and implement solutions that align with business objectives.
• Build scalable and maintainable codebases using modern frameworks and technologies, ensuring high performance and reliability.
• Develop, optimize, and bugfix our platform, hosted on AWS Cloud, to support secure and seamless consumer experiences.
• Integrate with and enhance Magento (Adobe Commerce).
• Design and implement database schemas and manage data flows to handle consumer data securely and efficiently.
• Conduct code reviews, implement best practices, and mentor junior engineers as the team grows.
• Utilize agile development methodologies to deliver features on time.
• Ensure adherence to HIPAA, security, privacy, and compliance standards throughout the software development lifecycle.

Basic Qualifications

• B.S. in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong experience with web application development, eCommerce platforms, and database management.
• Proficiency in modern programming languages, including but not limited to:

-Advanced PHP skills for backend development (experience with Laravel or Symfony frameworks is a plus).

-React.js or Vue.js for frontend development.

-Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB).

-Python for scripting, automation, and backend services.

-JavaScript for both frontend and backend development (e.g., Node.js)

• Experience building and deploying applications on AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.).
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, authentication protocols (OAuth2, JWT), and third-party API integrations.
• Proficiency with Git version control and familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Strong problem-solving skills and experience with data structures, algorithms, and system design.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with both technical and non-technical teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in PHP and Object-Oriented Programming.
• Experience with eCommerce platforms, especially Magento (Adobe Commerce) or willingness to learn.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and event-driven systems.
• Experience with cloud monitoring tools (e.g., AWS CloudWatch, Datadog).
• Familiarity with security best practices, including data encryption, secure coding standards, and privacy compliance.
• Passionate about mentoring and providing strong technical leadership to the engineering team.
• Driving user-centric solutions and maintaining high-quality coding standards.
