What are the responsibilities and job description for the Coach - GOHS Ohana Nui/Haka Dance Coach position at Temecula Valley Unified School District?
Receives clearance from Athletic Department/district office before interacting with students.
Assesses dancers’ skills and teaches original choreography.
Coaches and instructs dancers, individually or in groups, regarding the technique, formations, and intent of the dance.
Establishes and maintains standards of student behavior and provides proper supervision of dancers with the lead instructor.
Follows established procedures in the event of a student's injury.
Models appropriate behavior and conduct towards students and staff.
Performs any other related duties as assigned by the Principal, Assistant Principal of Athletics, Dance instructor, or other appropriate administrator.
