Responsibilities:
- Prepare legal documents, correspondence, and binders with contracts, real estate documents, and corporate documents.
- Working closely with Condo, HOA, and Co-Op board members.
- Schedule, coordinate materials, and prepare attorneys for client meetings.
- Establish and organize files; monitor deadlines; input information into file database.
- Create letters, legal documents and memos in Word, spreadsheets in Excel, and presentations in PowerPoint.
- Perform general clerical duties (photocopying, faxing, mailing, filing, etc.).
- High school diploma.
- Paralegal degree/certificate.
- 3 years legal support experience in Community Association/HOA.
- Able to work under tight deadlines, manage multiple, detailed tasks simultaneously and prioritize appropriately.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
- Must have strong PC skills with Microsoft Office (especially Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint); experience in Filesite/ iManage is a plus.
- Advanced knowledge of Adobe.
- Highly organized, results oriented and ability to work in a multi-functional team environment.
