Position Summary
The service administrator typically maintains the customer database with current information. Maintains clear and concise communications with department managers, employees and company customers, including keeping customers appraised as to company schedule and requested lead-times. Provides accounting with billing information. Prepare invoices for processing.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
- Take incoming customer calls.
- Maintain the maintenance agreements, including billing, scheduling, and staging of materials, database information, customer hard files and renewals.
- Update customer files as information is received
- Maintain customer history files in database
- File service orders
- Prepare paperwork for all manufacture warranty parts
- Facilitate return of warranty parts
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Skills:
- Advanced customer service skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Organized
- Knowledge of industry is recommended but not required
- Computer skills
- Experience related to customer service, web-based computer applications, Microsoft Suite, and detail oriented
Additional Requirements:
- Ability to stand, squat, bend, stoop and comfortably lift up to 25 lbs.
- Ability to pass full background screening and drug screening
- Ability to pass MVR check
- Ability to travel, as needed, for projects or training
- Hours are Monday through Friday, in the office.
