Position Summary
As a Service Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our HVAC service team. Your primary responsibilities will include coordinating service requests, dispatching technicians, and maintaining excellent communication with customers to ensure their needs are met promptly.
Responsibilities:
- Service Request Management:
- Receive and process service requests from customers via phone, email, or online platforms.
- Gather necessary information from customers to understand the nature of the service required.
- Technician Coordination:
- Coordinate and dispatch HVAC technicians to residential and commercial service locations based on expertise and geographical proximity.
- Ensure technicians are equipped with the necessary tools and information for each service call.
- Schedule Management:
- Plan and organize technician schedules to maximize efficiency and minimize travel time.
- Monitor and adjust schedules in real-time to accommodate urgent service requests or changes.
- Communication:
- Maintain clear and open communication with customers, providing updates on service appointments and any potential delays.
- Act as a liaison between customers and technicians to address any concerns or questions.
- Documentation and Record Keeping:
- Maintain accurate records of service requests, dispatch activities, and technician assignments.
- Generate reports on service performance, response times, and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role within a service industry.
- Previous experience in operations or logistics management.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Familiarity with HVAC terminology and services is an advantage.
- Proficient in using scheduling and dispatching software.
Additional Requirements:
- Ability to stand, squat, bend, stoop and comfortably lift up to 25 lbs.
- Ability to pass full background screening and drug screening
- Ability to pass MVR check
- Ability to travel, as needed, for projects or training
- Hours are Monday through Friday, in the office.
