What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Director position at Temp To Teach?
Overview
We are seeking an Assistant Director to help aid the Director in delivering high-quality services to our program's children. This role requires a strategic thinker who can assist in effectively supervising staff and managing students.
- Oversee the daily operations of the organization, ensuring compliance with all company regulations and standards when the Director is absent.
- Supervise and mentor staff, fostering a positive work environment that encourages professional growth.
- Assisting in ensuring the program meets the standards of Paths to Quality (PTQ) and state licensing procedures and policies.
- Help to maintain relationships with community partners, child intervention services, and families to promote collaboration and support.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 21 years of age.
- Experience working in education is preferred.
- Experience in Montessori pedagogy is preferred. If not experienced, then willing to learn and implement within the program.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- An Associate degree with 3 years of experience in early childhood education. -OR- A Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science in early childhood education. -OR- Any Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science with CDA or 15 credit hours documented in skills, development or teaching methods of children (6) years of age or younger.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
