DUTIES, ROLES, & RESPONSIBILITIES
JOB PURPOSE
Tempe Mechanical is seeking a reliable and hardworking Plumbing Laborer to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to start or further their career in plumbing, with opportunities for on-the-job training and advancement. The Plumbing Laborer will assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems, and ensure all tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and according to industry standards.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist plumbing technicians in the installation, repair, and maintenance of pipes, fittings, fixtures, and other plumbing components.
Carry and organize plumbing materials, tools, and equipment to job sites.
Assist with digging trenches and preparing work areas for plumbing installations.
Clean and maintain work sites to ensure safety and efficiency.
Cut, assemble, and install pipe systems according to project specifications.
Measure and mark pipes for installation and layout.
Maintain inventory of plumbing materials and tools.
Follow safety regulations and always maintain a safe working environment.
Perform general labor duties such as hauling, lifting, and cleaning.
Work collaboratively with team members to complete projects on time.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATION
High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in construction or plumbing is a plus but not required.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing systems and tools is beneficial.
- Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a team.
- Ability to follow safety procedures and work in a safe manner.
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites

Compensation & Benefits
POSITION PAY RATE
$19.00 per hour, based on skills, experience, performance and ongoing training attendance.
