Night Forklift Driver
Job Title: Forklift Driver
Reports To: Shipping Supervisor
FLSA Status: Non-exempt
Department: Warehouse
Location: Holt Michigan
Summary: The Shipping/Receiving Clerk 1 is responsible for shipping finished products to the customer according to the daily shipping log and receiving and managing incoming raw materials and supplies.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Job Description
- Package and prepare orders for shipment by customer specifications.
- Unloading of Freight Trucks and complete necessary paperwork for the front office.
- Pull finished goods from production and store appropriately in the warehouse.
- Operate forklift for loading/unloading finished goods and general material movement.
- Maintain housekeeping standard that ensures there is a place for everything, and everything is in its place.
- Understand and work to all safety requirements for all workstations assigned, be attentive to safety guidelines and report any unsafe condition.
- Committed to continuous process improvement and to producing safe, quality products that meet specifications and our responsibility to our customers

Prior Shipping and/or Receiving experience preferred.
Education/Experience:
Minimum of a high school diploma or GED required. Previous experience in the production environment is preferred. Valid driver’s license is also preferred.
Language Ability:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to communicate effectively with peers and management.
Math Ability:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Work Environment:
