Tempest Roofing is searching for a seasoned Commercial Roofing Sales Manager. This individual should be capable of managing, growing, and educating a team of a dozen commercial sales reps. We are looking for a headstrong and consistent leader who can address KPIs and commission goals, hold reps accountable for their metrics, and coach and educate their team to improve their sales capabilities and client relationships. Tempest is looking for someone who wants a future and can potentially move into a company leadership role.

  • Proven Experience: You’ve led teams of sales professionals focusing on commercial roofing within the multifamily sector, with a deep understanding of the industry’s complexities.
  • Leadership Excellence: You’re a hands-on leader, capable of driving performance, fostering a positive and high-energy sales environment, and cultivating a strong team culture.
  • Results-Oriented: You have a history of achieving ambitious sales goals, both individually and through your team.
  • Industry Knowledge: Deep knowledge of the multifamily market, roofing products, and how to approach large-scale commercial projects.
  • Structured Approach: You excel at establishing clear, repeatable processes and can help your team achieve consistency and success through a structured, systematic sales process.

  • The Non-Negotiables


    • Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and manage a dedicated team of sales professionals focused on multifamily roofing projects.
    • Sales Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to capture and grow business in the multifamily roofing market.
    • Training & Development: Provide continuous coaching, training, and support to ensure your team remains at the top of their game.
    • Performance Tracking: Establish metrics for success and hold your team accountable for meeting goals.
    • Relationship Building: Forge strong relationships with key stakeholders in the multifamily sector, including property managers, developers, and general contractors.
    • Problem Solving: Offer solutions to complex challenges and guide the team in navigating objections and obstacles.

  • Capability Requirements


    • 10 years of sales experience in the commercial roofing or construction industry, focusing on multifamily projects.
    • 5 years of experience managing or leading sales teams.
    • Strong understanding of commercial roofing systems, multifamily project timelines, and budget requirements.
    • Exceptional leadership, communication, and motivational skills.
    • Ability to develop and implement structured sales strategies that drive consistent growth.

  • Salary & Other Earnings


    • Starting salary of $75,000 base
    • Multiple types of unlimited Commission Earnings in addition to base salary
    • Personal sales 4% on total revenue (12% if margins are over 40%)
    • Quarterly bonuses based on the sales team KPIs and revenue goals (Negotiable)
    • 100% Covered Individual healthcare after 60 days.

  • Job Type: Full-time


    Pay: From $75,000.00 per year bonuses commission
