Tempest is a small but growing and with big ambitions.
We are again looking for a full-time or part-time buyer. Someone who knows processes and not just buying.
The ideal candidate is a highly organized, willing to wear multiple hats, detail-oriented team player who will oversee the entire order process. You will buy to ROP, special requests, and to forecasts along with selecting the best suppliers, analyze trends, follow up with placed orders, verify delivery, approve payment, and maintain necessary records.
Responsibilities
- Initial preparation and issuance of Request for Quotations (RFQs) for a wide range of commodities
- Process modifications to terms and conditions of purchase agreements
- Perform commercial analysis on suppliers to develop more efficient processes and cost-effective solutions
Qualifications
- Prefer Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in purchasing, inventory, or supply chain management
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Process improvement minded person
