What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Manager - North Louisiana position at Tempest Utility Consulting, LLC?
The Project Manager (PM) oversees all aspects of the project assigned by the customer. This includes establishing timelines, assigning responsibilities, monitoring, and reporting on progress of the project along with adjusting for variances. The PM will prepare reports for Tempest Utility Consulting (TUC) and customer management on a regular basis to communicate the status of the project. The PM will ensure that deliverables fall within the scope and budget as assigned by the customer. The PM reports to the Director of Program Management in TUC. This position will be based in Northern Louisiana, and will be hybrid with some home office and bi-weekly onsite visits.
Primary Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain relationships with all project stakeholders.
- Coordinate assigned resources to execute the project on time, within scope and within budget.
- Ensure resources are available and allocated as necessary.
- Develop or use a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress.
- Manage changes to scope, schedule and costs as needed.
- Ensure the project is delivered on time and within the budget.
- Report to management of TUC and customer as required. Escalate issues when necessary.
- Evaluate risks and minimize as they are identified.
- Leverage industry networks and relationships to improve Tempest Utility Consulting’s overall image and market share.
- Ensure all TUC timesheets are accurate and processed in a timely manner.
