Tempest brings a unique vision of south atlantic seafood to Charleston. From fresh oysters from the Lowcountry coast and beautifully prepared local fish to stunning seafood towers, guests enjoy fresh, sustainably-sourced seafood from the country’s most responsible fishermen and purveyors. Tucked into an old sailors getaway, Tempest serves up beer, wine, and handcrafted cocktails with charcoal-roasted fish and raw oysters, set underneath our 700-square foot handmade mosaic ceiling.

Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a meticulous eye for detail? We are looking for a competent and experienced host who can multitask with a smile on their face! As our host, you will be:
-Managing reservations via OpenTable
-Answering phone calls and confirming reservations
-Greeting guests
-Seating guests
-Adapting to guests needs
-Working closely with staff and management to ensure guests get the best experience

Experience with OpenTable a plus.
Qualifications
- Previous host/hostess experience in a restaurant setting
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Familiarity with food service operations
- Experience with POS systems, including Aloha and Micros
- Background in guest services and hospitality
- Ability to manage reservations using OpenTable
- Knowledge of guest relations and phone etiquette
