Job Description:We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Community Marketing Coordinator to join our team dedicated to providing high-quality care for seniors. This role is focused on building relationships within the community and attracting new residents to our facility. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others and will work to establish a strong presence within the local community, connecting with potential residents and their families through outreach, events, and targeted marketing efforts.As a Community Marketing Coordinator at our assisted living facility, your responsibilities will include:
- Community Outreach & Networking: Establish and maintain strong relationships with local organizations, healthcare providers, and community leaders to increase referrals and attract potential clients.
- Lead Generation & Client Acquisition: Develop and execute marketing strategies to generate new leads and convert them into residents. This includes meeting with potential clients, giving facility tours, and facilitating the admissions process.
- Event Planning & Promotion: Plan and execute community-focused events, such as open houses, senior health fairs, and family seminars, to engage with prospective residents and their families.
- Partnership Development: Cultivate relationships with referral sources, including hospitals, rehab centers, social workers, and other senior care providers to drive inbound referrals.
- Brand Awareness: Increase brand visibility by attending local events, networking functions, and speaking engagements to raise awareness of the facility’s services and unique offerings.
- Content Creation & Marketing: Develop marketing materials such as brochures, social media posts, newsletters, and website content to promote the facility’s services and highlight success stories.
- Relationship Management: Maintain ongoing relationships with current residents' families and local community groups to foster goodwill and promote positive word-of-mouth.
- Data & Reporting: Track and report on marketing campaign effectiveness, lead generation efforts, and the overall success of community outreach initiatives.
- Competitor Analysis: Monitor industry trends and competitor offerings to adjust marketing strategies and stay ahead of the market.
Qualifications:
- (Preferred but not required) Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Healthcare Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2-4 years of experience in sales, marketing, or community outreach, preferably in healthcare or senior living environments.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an empathetic and personable approach to interacting with prospective clients and their families.
- Sales and Networking Skills: Proven track record of generating leads, converting prospects into clients, and building strong referral networks.
- Event Planning Experience: Demonstrated ability to organize and promote community events, both virtual and in-person, to engage with potential clients and their families.
- Knowledge of Senior Care: Familiarity with the senior living industry, including the challenges and needs of seniors and their families, is highly desirable.
- Relationship Building: A natural ability to build and maintain lasting relationships with referral partners, healthcare professionals, and community members.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficient with marketing and CRM tools, social media platforms, and general office software (Microsoft Office, Google Suite, etc.).
- Strong Organizational Skills: Ability to juggle multiple responsibilities, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Local Knowledge: Deep understanding of the local community, including senior services, health organizations, and other facilities.
