Delivery Driver

Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting pharmaceutical goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe deliveries. This role requires excellent customer service skills, as you will interact with clients during the delivery process. The successful candidate will have experience with heavy lifting, route driving, and operating box trucks.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks, while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
• Load and unload products, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage during transport.
• Navigate assigned routes efficiently to ensure timely deliveries.
• Provide exceptional customer service by interacting positively with clients upon delivery.
• Own their own vehicle (mileage/gas reimbursement provided)
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly.
• Assist in pharmacy operations when not on the road, including inventory management and forklift operation as needed.

Experience

• Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred.
• Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is a plus.
• Experience with heavy lifting and handling large items safely is essential.
• Strong customer service skills to enhance client satisfaction during deliveries.
• Knowledge of commercial driving regulations and safety practices is important.
• Experience in route driving and familiarity with local areas is beneficial.
• Prior experience working in a warehouse environment is advantageous but not required.

Pay: $16.49 - $17.45 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
