What are the responsibilities and job description for the Billing Rep position at Temple Health – Temple University Health System?
This position reports to the SBO leadership team. Responsibilities include buy not limited to, proficient in Microsoft software (Teams, Outlook, etc.), working SBO correspondence, scanning and indexing into OnBase. Hiring manager is requesting candidate have a minimum of two years' experience working HB & PB insurance and claim follow up. Candidate should have a clear understanding of remit information as it relates to patient balance, understand EOB, small knowledge surrounding insurance denial, have a clear understanding of insurance benefits and registration functions to assure proper billing. This candidate will also be responsible for understanding patient balances, great customer service skills, working accounts in Epic WQs, adding/removing patients to payment plans, refunding and distributing payments throughout patient accounts.
