What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director, Digital Enablement position at Temple Health – Temple University Health System?
Contemporary leader with vision and operational experience leading an enterprise. Provide leadership, direction, and execution for digital services and staff in Temple Health. Collaborate with clinical and administrative leaders to understand their needs and ensure digital initiatives align with associated priorities and strategic goals. Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in digital health and advise how trends should be operationalized or monitored. Champion the adoption of innovative digital solutions that enhance patient care, workforce and physician operational efficiency, and support data-driven decision-making. Applies full system life cycle system activities across all platforms, services and applications, including strategic planning, product selection, system development, implementation, and support of solutions. Responsible for planning, developing, testing, and implementing all software releases to applications and services. Provide detailed project work plans, staffing and task assignments, internal staff productivity, and external consulting resource allocation when needed.
Education
Bachelor's Degree: in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (Required)
Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
Experience
10 Years experience in delivering digital solutions for the patient/customer and employee to drive effectiveness and efficiencies (Required)
5 years experience with planning and managing implementations/upgrades of related web technology software and supporting high-quality, user-friendly applications for a multi-user environment (Required)
5 Years Experience In a Leadership Capacity (Required)
5 years of experience in a large healthcare delivery organization (Preferred)
