What are the responsibilities and job description for the MAMMOGRAPHY MANAGER (FT; 40hrs/wk) - Temple University Hospital position at Temple Health – Temple University Health System?
Manages the daily operations of all Mammography departments within the Temple University Health System. Establishes procedure protocols with the Radiologist ensuring that protocols are followed and that staff is trained appropriately. Manages departmental budget, assists with the marketing and growth of the department and develops and maintains relationships with key referring physicians. Assists in the teaching of residents and students, coordinates scheduling and ensures the quality of examinations. Ensures that state, Joint Commission, and all regulatory requirements are met.
Education
High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
Non Degree Program : Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program. (Required)
Experience
3 Years experience in a supervisory position. (Required)
5 Years Experience In Radiology. (Required)
1 Year experience in Mammography/Breast Imaging (Preferred)
General Experience and knowledge of current FDA and MQSA guidelines. (Preferred)
License/Certifications
RT(R)(M) - Reg Technologist (R) (M) (Required)
BLS - Basic Life Support (Required)
