The Manager of Regulatory Affairs executes the readiness processes to ensure compliance with regulations and standards of regulatory and accreditation agencies. Assesses and determines survey readiness and compliance to all accrediting and regulatory agencies by identifying areas of non-compliance and works with leaders to establish effective action plans. Provides ongoing information and education on changes and updates to The Joint Commission, CMS, and Department of Health standards and other agencies' requirements. Manages the Administrative Policy and Procedure Manual to ensure it is complete, current and accurate.


Education

Bachelors Degree: Clinical health care or other related field of study (Required)

Masters Degree: Clinical health care or other related field of study (Preferred)

Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

Licenses and Certifications

CPHQ - Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (Preferred), HACP - Healthcare Accreditation Certified Professional (Preferred) or CJCP � Certified Joint Commission Professional (Preferred)


Experience

5 Years experience in a progressively responsible leadership role in a clinical environment (Required)

General experience participating in accreditation and regulatory surveys in a health facility (Required)

General experience in at least two Joint Commission or equivalent accreditation surveys (Required)
