What are the responsibilities and job description for the ULTRASOUND MANAGER (FT; 40hrs/wk) - Temple Health/Episcopal Hospital position at Temple Health – Temple University Health System?
Responsible for supervising and scheduling the Ultrasound technical staff of Temple University Hospital (TUH) and TUH campuses. Ensures the quality of examination performed by technical staff and coordinates scheduling of examinations with referring physicians and radiologists. Ensures state, Joint Commission and all regulatory requirements are met. Manages employees in a firm, fair and consistent manner to ensure that duties are performed efficiently and accurately. Supervises the computer scheduling in cooperation with the Supervisor of Patient Services. Maintains and prioritizes the employee work schedule, attendance and payroll records. Organizes work flow and assigns employees according to those needs.
Education
High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
Non Degree Program : Graduate of an AMA approved ultrasound program. (Required)
Experience
3 Years experience in a supervisory position. (Required)
5 Years Experience In a Related Role (Required)
License/Certifications
RDMS - Reg Diag Medical Sonographer (Required)
BLS - Basic Life Support (Preferred)
