What are the responsibilities and job description for the PATIENT OUTREACH SPECIALIST (FT; 40hrs/wk) - Temple Physicians Inc. position at Temple Health?
Supports the TPI practice sites by assisting with quality and operational tasks. Serves as point of contact between patients / families / caregivers and TPI practice staff and providers. Communicates via oral and / or written correspondence to patients and physicians on a daily basis. Provides appropriate and clinically relevant information and facilitates requests within the designated timeframes based on clinical urgency as defined per protocol. Maintains knowledge of several IT systems. Assures database compliance and integrity.
Education
High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
Bachelors Degree : in Marketing, Communications or Healthcare. (Preferred)
Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
Experience
2 Years experience in customer service and / or healthcare (Required)
General Experience communicating in Spanish (Bilingual) (Preferred)
General Experience in a managed care and insurance, physician practice or call center environment (Preferred)
