Provides comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders. This may involve polysomnography, diagnostic, and therapeutic services or patient education. Sets up and calibrates all polysomnographic recordings and monitoring equipment. Applies sensors to patients, and initiates sleep recordings. Summarizes data from polysomnographic recordings, and provides routine cleaning and maintenance of laboratory equipment. Produces high quality polysomnographic recordings.
Education
High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
Non Degree Program : Polysomnography Technology (Required)
Associates Degree : Respiratory Therapy (Preferred)
Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
Experience
1 Year experience in a Sleep Disorders setting (Preferred)
License / Certifications
BLS - Basic Life Support (Required)
RCP-LIC - PA Respiratory Care License (Preferred)
RPSGT - Reg Polysom (Preferred)
RRT - Reg Respiratory Therapist (Preferred)
