POSITION SUMMARY:
The Tool Room Attendant is responsible for managing, distributing, and maintaining tools and equipment for CNC machinists. This role ensures that all tools are in proper working condition, organized, and readily available to support efficient machining operations. The position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and adherence to safety and compliance standards.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
· Issue tools, fixtures, and equipment to CNC machinists as needed.
· Maintain accurate inventory records of tools and equipment.
· Inspect tools for wear or damage and coordinate repairs or replacements as necessary.
· Monitor tool usage and notify the supervisor of shortages before depletion.
· Assist in setting up tooling for machining operations as required.
· Experienced in using computer systems to track tool inventory, manage records, and generate reports.
· Proficient in Microsoft Excel for maintaining inventory logs, tracking tool usage, and analyzing data to ensure efficient tool room operations and prevent shortages.
· Ensure all tools are properly cleaned, stored, and organized in the tool room.
· Maintain a clean and organized tool room environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. .
· Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.
· Accurately complete and submit daily production sheets to the supervisor.
· Complete all tasks promptly while maintaining quality and safety standards.
· Report any maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor immediately.
· Maintain punctual attendance, arriving on time and working until the designated shift. Notify the supervisor in advance of any tardiness or absences.
· Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow precise instructions.
· Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and measurement tools.
· Contributes to team effort and completes other duties as assigned.

· Verbal Communication, Functional and Technical Skills, Coordination, Attention to Detail, Judgment, Manual Dexterity (use of hands), Physical Strength (lift/move up to 45 lbs), Physical Stamina (stand for extended periods)
· Exposure to moving mechanical parts, vibration, airborne particles, chemicals, and/or fumes
· Warehouse temperature fluctuate due to weather conditions
· Noise level can be loud, at times
· Must wear safety glasses and steel toe boots/shoes in the warehouse
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
