Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Farm Hand to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various tasks that support the daily operations of our farm. The Farm Hand will assist in maintaining farm equipment, caring for livestock, and ensuring the overall productivity of the farm.
Duties
- Perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks associated with farm operations.
- Assist in the growing and harvesting of crops, ensuring optimal yield and quality.
- Operate and maintain farm machinery, including tractors and other equipment.
- Participate in animal husbandry activities, including feeding, grooming, and monitoring livestock health.
- Collaborate with team members to implement best practices for farming operations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in farming or agricultural work is preferred but not required.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and engage in physically demanding work.
- Familiarity with operating forklifts and other farm machinery is a plus.
- Knowledge of animal husbandry practices is beneficial.
- Strong work ethic with a commitment to maintaining high standards on the farm.
- Willingness to learn new skills related to farming techniques and equipment operation.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
