TRANSPLANT NURSE COORD- Lung Transplant- 40/hrs, Day Shifts (Temple University Hospital)
In conjunction with the transplant team, assumes responsibility for coordinating the delivery of care for the transplant patient. Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of nursing theory and practice involved in providing nursing care. Familiarity with organization and function of departments, policies, procedures and regulations. Orchestrates the care of patients with end stage organ disease. CCTC - Certified Clinical Transplant Coordinator required within 2 years of hire as a Transplant Nurse Coordinator. Education Bachelors Degree : in Nursing from an accredited Nursing program. (Required) Masters Degree : in Nursing from an accredited Nursing program. (Preferred) Experience 3 Years experience in nursing. (Required) General experience and knowledge of Electronic Medical Record. (Required) General Experience in a Transplant program.
