Major Duties and Responsibilities
Operating a vehicle that transports passengers to and from medical appointments
· Offering comfort and support to patients and their families.
· Transporting medical equipment, supplies and laboratory specimens to designated treatment, diagnostic and patient care areas.
· Communicating with nurses.

Duties
- Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the journey.
- Communicate effectively with passengers regarding routes, schedules, and any changes in travel plans.
- Perform pre-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in safe operating condition.
- Handle heavy lifting when necessary for loading and unloading cargo or assisting passengers with their belongings.
- Maintain accurate records of trips, including mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents that may occur during transport.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing passenger inquiries or concerns promptly.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on duty.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with passengers.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required for loading and unloading tasks.
- Familiarity with local routes and traffic patterns is a plus.
- Must be able to pass background checks as required by company policy.
