As a Caregiver with AccentCare, you will provide non-medical support, including personal home care and homemaking services. enabling clients to remain in the comfort of their own homes. Responsibilities include :
- Personal care assistance

Must be able to drive up to 60 miles away from homeMust be able to work alternating weekends on callAt least six months of professional caregiving experience or active CNA licenseValid Texas Drivers license an reliable transportation (with current insurance)Sufficient endurance to perform tasks during long work hoursBilingual (English & Spanish) preferred but not mandatoryAt least 18 years of age requiredMust not be the parent of a minor child or spouse of client - on service with the agencyMust be free of communicable disease and open infectious woundsMust have a valid Texas driver's license and current automobile liability insurance. Must have reliable transportation.Must be able to stand and walk throughout majority of shift on various surfaces in client's homes.Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds such as mop buckets, groceries, and bags with trashMust be able to push / pullup to various weights while performing tasks such as pushing client in wheelchair and transferring client.Must be able to climb stairs up to two levels daily while making client visits.Must be able to balance while assisting clients to walk and climb stairs on a daily basis while performing client care activities.Must be able to bend, twist, use rotating motions and reach while performing various client care activities.Must be able to handle various client care supplies such as needles, dressings, and equipment.Must be able to accurately chart and read client's records.Must be alert and able to identify and avoid hazards. Report all hazards immediately and take corrective measures as directed.must be okay with Working Conditions : May be exposed to various heat, cold, wet and humid conditions while traveling to various clients' homes. May be occupationally exposed to blood and other potential infectious materials. Must be able to comply with infection control procedures. May be confronted from time to time with animals of client's. Client's homes may have atmospheric conditions such as fumes, orders, dust, gases and / or poor ventilation.Come As You Are

Qualifications
Six months experience with a home health agency or in a facility providing caregiving in the past four years.Valid Texas Drivers license / Reliable transportation (with current insurance) and ability to drive 30-60 miles from your home.Available to be on call alternating weekends, and on call during the week.Must want to have FUN while being the BEST!!
Salary : $12 - $14
