Immediate opening for a Millwright to work for a well-established facility in Frenchville. This position offers an excellent daytime schedule and competitive wages. Full-time/Days: 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday – Thursday, 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM, Friday. $22.00 - $25.00/hr., depending on qualifications and experience.
The Millwright will handle the installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial machinery and tools. Employee will be responsible for testing and calibrating a variety of equipment to guarantee that all machinery at the site is functioning properly. This role will also oversee production operations to ensure that tasks around the job site are being caried out safely and efficiently. Applicants should have 3-5 years of experience in industrial production and maintenance. Associate degree or trade certification in a related field strongly preferred. Prior management experience also a plus.

Responsibilities:
- Use a combination of hand and power tools to assemble, maintain, and repair production machinery and other mechanical equipment.
- Troubleshoot potential issues and perform preventative maintenance on a variety of industrial equipment.
- Accurately read blueprints and schematics in order to fabricate, repair, or modify machinery as needed.
- Repair or replace chains, belt conveyors, gear boxes, hydraulics, and pneumatic parts.
- Follow all established safety measures as required by company policy, as well as local, state, and federal laws.
- Train members of the production team to operate equipment in a safe and productive manner.
- Provide crew members with clear instructions on how to complete their assignments and give performance feedback in a constructive, professional manner.
- Assign employees to work in areas of the facility that are appropriate for their experience/skill level.
- Assist the production team with as needed to help cover in the event of an employee absence or staffing shortage.
- Respond to equipment failures, safety concerns, personnel conflicts, and/or accidents at the job site.
- Keep accurate records of job site incidents and consult with upper management on how to improve areas that demonstrate significant or ongoing problems.
Job Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience in maintenance in an industrial environment; particularly in working with stationary motorized equipment.
- Trade certification or associate degree related to maintenance and/or mechanical support strongly preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; prior management/leadership experience strongly preferred.
Schedule: Full-time/Days: 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday – Thursday, 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM, Friday.
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00/hr., depending on qualifications and experience.
