Full-time Retail Cleaner needed to work for a locally owned business in Presque Isle. Flexible daytime schedule – no previous experience required!
Full-Time/Days; hours available from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM, Sunday - Saturday. $16.00/hr.
The Retail Cleaner will dust and organize store shelves. Employee will remove trash and debris, wipe down surfaces, sort products, and organize displays as directed. Prior professional cleaning and/or custodial experience a plus. Must have good attention to detail and ability to complete required tasks safely and effectively.

Responsibilities:
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize shelves, display cases, and other surfaces throughout the store in an efficient and organized manner.
- Remove, sort, and re-organize sales displays, ensuring that unsold products are appropriately stored and not damaged during cleaning.
- Clean up trash, debris, stains, and spills.
- Set aside damaged or spoiled items so that they can be counted and appropriately disposed of.
- Return unsold items to clean display areas, paying close attention to ensure that labels and price tags match.
- Keep accurate task records so that staff can determine which areas are clean and which require maintenance.
- Perform other relevant duties as requested.
Job Requirements:
- Working knowledge of common cleaning products and procedures; ability to determine which tools and chemicals are appropriate for specific tasks.
- Strong reading comprehension; must be able to reshelve products by matching labels and price tags appropriately.
- Good mobility; able to bend, kneel, squat, and reach overhead with ease.
- Good attention to detail.
Schedule: Full-Time/Days; hours available from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
Pay: $16.00/hr.
