One of Gilroy's hottest food trucks is searching for Supervisor/Coordinator to join our team.
Position Summary: Exciting opportunity for our new Food Truck operations. Incumbent will supervise operational and administrative details of customer and food truck service.
Duties:
- Manage staff to assist with food truck daily operations.
- Train staff in proper kitchen conduct and food handling, overseeing the sanitation and safety of the food truck.
- Adhere to all city and town regulations with regard to health and safety of food truck operations.
- Develop and maintain operating procedures for the truck.
- Implement and manage inventory system for food truck and commissary.
- Meet and exceed the expectations of customer's perceived value.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have:
- Passion and knowledge of quality food preparation, presentation and taste.
- Experience managing a food truck preferred.
- Flexible schedule to include: days, night and weekends.
- Proven success in a team-oriented environment.
- Positive interpersonal skills.
- Impeccable attention to detail, prioritization, multi-tasking, task planning and budget management.
- Leadership skills required.
- Strong ability to inspire, motivate self and others.
- Proven ability with team collaboration, creative problem solving and conflict resolution.
- Familiarity with POS software (Toast/Clover).
Work Experience:
- 1 years' experience in a restaurant or institutional food service setting.
- Class A Commercial Driver's License desirable, but not required.
