We are hiring a Payroll Clerk for a great client on-site in El Segundo, CA. This is a temporary/contract opportunity, starting as soon as possible. As a Payroll Clerk, you will play a critical role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing by reviewing timecards, inputting data, and supporting the payroll team with various administrative tasks. Payroll Clerk – Temporary/Contract
Location: El Segundo, CA
Schedule: Tuesday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and verify employee timecards for accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Input payroll data into the system with a high level of precision and attention to detail.
- Assist in processing payroll in a timely manner.
- Address and resolve payroll discrepancies or employee inquiries as needed.
- Maintain payroll records and ensure they are updated and properly filed.
- Reconcile payroll reports to ensure accuracy in deductions, taxes, and wages.
- Perform other administrative tasks to support the payroll department.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in payroll processing or a related role.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Familiarity with payroll software systems is a plus.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
