Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Field Technician (commercial services) for our client in Syracuse, NY area. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting various systems and equipment in the field. 2 plus years of experience.
Duties
- Install and configure electronic systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Perform cabling tasks for both data and telecommunications systems.
- Utilize voltmeters and other diagnostic tools to assess electrical systems and components.
- Maintain and repair electrical systems (low voltage).
- Employ hand tools effectively for installation and repair tasks.
- Apply mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform necessary repairs.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while adhering to safety standards.
Skills
- Strong background in field service roles, demonstrating problem-solving abilities in real-world scenarios.
- Familiarity with voltmeters and other electrical testing equipment.
- Proficient in the use of hand tools for installation, maintenance, and repair tasks.
- Solid mechanical knowledge, enabling effective troubleshooting of various systems.
- Understanding of electrical principles as they relate to installations and repairs.
- 2 plus years of experience.
