Our Client is a leading Consumer Products Manufacturer and adding an Analyst/Accountant to their Cost Finance Team.
This role is a financial cost analyst operating as a collaborative business partner. This position the beginning of a long-term career opportunity to learn and grow at a Headquarters location with an Industry Leader, and the ideal candidate will be afforded the opportunity to pivot into other areas within the company for years to come (accounting, finance, production, purchasing, etc.).
Responsibilities include:
Will utilize and adjust cost models for Variance Analysis vs. budget and standard costs, will also maintain databases for manufacturing and raw materials and cost simulations, update manufacturing change orders, analyze standard costs, organize SKU categorization, assist internal client departments such as purchasing, quality, production, and IT with reporting and budgeting. Assist managers with tracking of stock, support month-end reporting and with the Cost of Goods Sold reporting, Inventory Valuation, expense analysis and will also have some fun & creative finance and collaborative opportunity with monthly ad-hoc reporting too.

Requirements and Skills:
- Hybrid opportunity with 1 day per week remote if needed
- 2-3 years of Experience with Manufacturing industry with experience in Inventory, Cost of Good Sold (COGS), Bill of Material (BOM), Pricing, Cost Consumption Accounting / Analysis.
- Bachelors Degree in Finance or Accounting or related field
- Prefer SAP or an ERP
- Must have Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, filters, vlookup, subtotals, sumif, etc.)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Spanish a plus but NOT required.
