Actively looking for Professional Civil Engineers to join our team, responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing construction and maintenance of infrastructure projects, including roads, bridges, and buildings. Looking for candidates in Utica, Hornell, Watertown, and Buffalo. These positions are long term contract roles.
Professional Engineers (level 1 and 2) will use their knowledge of the mathematical, physical, and engineering principles across a variety of specialties to deliver comprehensive engineering services. These engineering services can include but are not limited to consultation, evaluation, planning, systems design, engineering surveys, or project oversight to ensure work adheres to verified engineering standards. They may also supervise and evaluate the work of junior engineers and technicians on a multitude of projects including the construction, extension, alteration, remodeling, and maintenance of roads, buildings, public and private water and sewer systems, electrical and power supply systems, fire protection systems, and large structures including major roads, environmental remediation systems, and bridges.
Requirements :
- Must hold an active NYS Professional Engineer license, or qualifying degree or previous work experience within civil engineering. The ideal candidates should have a background in civil, transportation, public safety, highway, or structural engineering.
- A minimum of one year of full full-time engineering experience in the design and construction of roads, bridges, parks, recreational and treatment facilities or traffic management and safety systems.
- A Bachelor's Degree or higher, in engineering or engineering technology. Other degrees such as civil engineering, civil engineering technology, construction engineering, construction engineering technology, and management, electrical engineering, electrical power engineering, environmental engineering, materials engineering, mechanical engineering, or structural engineering, or similar can be accepted as well.
