Maintenance Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in facilities maintenance and mechanical knowledge, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair various systems. This role requires a proactive approach to maintenance tasks, ensuring that all equipment and facilities are functioning optimally.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment and systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues.
• Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and logic controllers for diagnostics.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Read and interpret schematics to identify issues and implement solutions.
• Fabricate parts or components as needed for repairs or improvements.
• Lead small teams during maintenance projects, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
• Assist with residential painting and other facility improvement projects as required.

Experience

• Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose and repair various systems
• Leadership skills to effectively manage small teams during maintenance tasks.
• Proficient in English for clear communication with team members and documentation purposes.
• Experience reading schematics and fabricating parts is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
