What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Service Transit Surveyor position at Temps, Inc.?
We are seeking candidates to assist in conducting a data collection project surveying passengers and counting passengers as they board and exit the buses in El Cajon and surrounding areas. This is a temporary position expected to last approximately 1-2 weeks beginning March March 10, 2025. Ideal candidate will be familiar with the El Cajon area, available to work between 4am - 9pm, usually between a 6-8hour shift in between those hours. Comfortable riding public transportation, and interacting with the general public.
Key Job Functions
Start shifts at a fixed location, start times, and on various bus routes (as instructed)
o Shifts will be approximately 6 to 8 hours, between 4 a.m. and 10 pm on M,T,W,Th,F,S,S working approximately 5 days per week including weekends.
Key Job Requirements:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Able to stand for extended periods of time and to carry/lift 5 lbs
Able to walk at least two miles (throughout a shift), climb stairs, and walk on moving vehicles/buses without motion sickness or incontinence
Must be able to speak clearly and to read out loud; Must be able to read with corrected vision
Keep a working cell phone on your person (to be able to stay in contact with your supervisors)
Willing to work varying shift times between 4 a.m.-10 p.m. M,T,W,Th,S,S.
