Pay Range: $18.80 / per hour

Shift: 4pm-12am (Monday - Friday)

A Material Handler Entry level is responsible for operating powered pallet jacks/Forklifts to supply assembly lines with needed material for on time day to day production.

Primary duties and responsibilities include the following:

• Follow all safety guidelines and participate as a fully-empowered team member to achieve organization-wide goal of zero incidents.
• Be able to read and follow day to day production schedules.
• Positions forks, or other lifting device under, over or around pallets and transport load to designated area.
• Inventories materials on work floor and supplies workers with materials, as needed
• Help in coordinating and verifying materials between dept.
• Store, count, move, mark and issue materials in accordance with assembly department processes and procedures, either verbal or written.

What You'll Need:

High School diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Prior experience using a powered pallet jack/forklift.

Material handling experience a plus.

• Be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in a standing position for a minimum 8 hours or more per shift.
• Frequent walking, squatting, turning, twisting, pushing, bending, etc. in a fast paced, high volume manufacturing environment.
• Excellent attendance—must be reliable and punctual.
• Must be willing to work overtime and occasional Saturdays.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
