Tempur-Pedic Team Lead's primary responsibility is to provide excellence in customer service while selling and marketing Tempur-Pedic products. In addition, this individual will serve as a member of management when the Store Manager is not available. This could include opening and/or closing the store as well as covering the management duties.

Hourly Rate: $17.00 PLUS Monthly Incentive That Is Based On Sales Metrics
What You'll Do (Essential Duties and Responsibilities):
. Engage customers to quickly determine their needs and the best possible way to meet those needs.
. Provide exceptional customer service at every stage of the customers' retail experience.
. Create a welcoming and consultative environment that builds trust and helps the customers feel comfortable at every stage of their retail experience.
. Commit to building long-term relationships with all customers.
. Participate in trainings to develop interpersonal skills and selling capabilities.
. Learn how to make effective recommendations and up-sell Tempur Sealy products.
. Support the Store Manager in maintaining the highest standards of presentation and product care.
. Ensure that safety and security rules and procedures are followed.
. Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:What You'll Need (Qualifications):
. High school diploma or equivalent.
. At least 1 year of retail sales experience is preferred.
. Strong sales skills in a consultative environment
. Demonstrated ability to effectively lead, direct, and train others in a store setting
. Skilled at current best practice retail methods, procedures, and standards
. Demonstrated team player able to both lead and follow
. Flexibility in work schedule reflecting the needs and patterns of store hours
. Fluency with current retail software / computer systems
. Must be able to stand for long periods of time and occasionally lifting items with or without assistance.
