Tempus is seeking a highly qualified undergraduate Generative AI Summer Analyst to work with us for the summer of 2025. We are looking for people who can change the world.

As a Summer Intern at Tempus, you will :

Anticipated Summer Project(s) :
Project #1 : Supporting White-Glove Agent DevelopmentCollaborate with business units and leaders to develop custom AI Agents.
Iterate and improve Agents based on feedback and performance metricsFacilitate cross-functional communication and collaboration for successful Agent development.Provide best practices & technical support to external partners in building and deploying AI Agents.Project #2 : Gen AI Commercial Go-To-Market (GTM) EffortsConduct market research to identify potential partners and customers.
Develop and refine GTM strategies for Tempus OS, Agent Builder, and Tempus One.Engage with partners and customers, presenting and demonstrating Tempus AI‘s solutions.Support integration of Gen AI solutions within EHRs and other healthcare systems.Project #3 : Gen AI Evangelism and Thought LeadershipCreate and publish engaging content (blogs, whitepapers, case studies) on AI in precision medicine.
Develop and execute social media campaigns to promote Tempus AI‘s innovations.Collaborate with the marketing team on strategies to enhance brand recognition and Gen AI adoption.Qualifications :
Pursuing a Bachelor‘s degree in Biological Sciences, Biotechnology, or a related fieldStrong interest in pursuing an MD / PhD program with a focus on leveraging technology and data science in healthcare.Proficiency in data analysis tools such as R, Python, and Excel.Collaboration : Working effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.Problem-Solving : Identifying issues and developing solutions to improve AI Agents.Adaptability : Flexibility in adjusting to new information, changing conditions, or unexpected obstacles.Communication : Clearly conveying ideas and information to team members and stakeholders.Time Management : Balancing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines effectively.Excellent written and verbal communication skills in a variety of settings and media.Strong computer skills, including advanced knowledge of Google Suite and Gmail, preferred.A self-starter with the ability to work independently as well as in collaboration with others in a fast-paced environment is critical.Additional Details :
You will spend 8 or 10 weeks working in our Chicago office.
