The Package
A veterinary clinic is seeking a dedicated Associate Veterinarian to join its dynamic team. The clinic, which treats small animals and exotics, currently employs five doctors and offers 30-minute appointments with ample tech support. The practice can accommodate other interests, such as exotics and acupuncture.
Equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, the clinic boasts full body and dental x-rays, a fully equipped surgery suite, a mobile ultrasound unit, a travelling ultra-sonographer, and an acupuncture k-laser. The clinic is AAHA accredited and offers a range of services including soft tissue surgeries, orthopedic surgeries, and dentals. Routine wellness appointments are mixed with a few same-day urgent care slots. Intensive care cases are referred to an emergency clinic.
The clinic is on the cusp of a significant expansion project, adding more exam rooms and surgery spaces. Additionally, they offer boarding services.
Open to both new graduates and experienced veterinarians, the clinic provides a supportive mentorship program for new grads. Full-time and part-time positions are available, with most doctors working three to four days a week. The clinic operates from 8 AM to 6 PM on weekdays, with reduced hours on Saturdays. While two doctors handle Saturdays, working weekends is optional, and no surgeries are scheduled on these days.
The clinic is open to various roles, including surgery-only and non-surgery DVMs, as well as those preferring no weekend work. Visa sponsorship is negotiable.
