An exciting opportunity is available for a veterinarian at a busy urgent care facility in La Mesa, CA, an independent city within the San Diego area. This position is ideal for a general practitioner looking to tackle more complex cases or an emergency veterinarian seeking more routine hours and a less hectic workload.
The goal of this facility is to alleviate pressure from local ER hospitals, support the referring veterinary community, and provide exceptional service to pet parents. In this role, the veterinarian will have a significant impact on patients, clients, and colleagues.
The urgent care facility operates as a stand-alone location adjacent to the primary hospital. The practice has been a vital part of the San Diego community, delivering high-quality care and medicine for over 20 years. The environment is friendly and collaborative, fostering a special camaraderie among doctors and staff.
The ideal candidate should be able to efficiently handle minor emergencies surgeries and outpatient cases that are not life threatening such as lacerations, limping / painful pets, hypersensitivity reactions, vomiting and / or diarrhea, ear infections, urinary tract infections, non-obstructed FLUTD / FUS patients etc.

- Starting at $150k Base salary Production
- No negative accrual
- 120 hours annual PTO and 40 hours additional PTO for CE
