What are the responsibilities and job description for the PCA/Caregiver position at Tempus Unlimited?
Responsibilities:
- Provide part-time personal care assistance/caretaking to a sweet, non-verbal teenager with special needs. The child is mobile and able to entertain himself.
-caregiving will be provided in-home (usually) and out of home on occasion
-assist with bathing, toiletting, dressing, and grooming as needed
-some light housework as needed
-assist with feeding/meal preparation as needed
-assist with and accompany child to events on occasion.
Requirements:
Will train the right individual
Kind, respectful, patient person with acceptable CORI. No illicit drug users. No smoking near child.
Some lifting assistance may be required at times
Preference for individuals who have some afterschool (after 2), evening, weekend and potentially occasional overnight availability (overnights would be mostly sleeping)
Bonuses/additional compensation may be available depending on flexibility/work required
