What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate Veterinarian position at Tempus Veterinary Recruitment?
Job Overview
This privately owned small animal hospital are looking for a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join their tight-knit team. The hospital currently sees cats and dogs, but they have previously seen exotics (they still have the up-to-date equipment and support staff to facilitate this), and would love to open these services back up to their loyal clients. They currently employ 1 full-time, and 2 part-time doctors who offer the full range of veterinary services between Monday and Friday. Appointments are typically seen in 30 minute increments, and can be extended based on doctor preference, and case type. Their tenured team work together harmoniously, and the technicians are utilized to their highest potential meaning doctors are able to focus on their own work. The AAHA accredited hospital is held to high standards, and their equipment is no different, utilizing high-tech tools to enable a fantastic standard of veterinary medicine (including, but not limited to, digital x-ray, digital dental x-ray, inhouse IDEXX labs, Ultrasound, Avimark EMRs, Phovia and much more!). The team are willing to take on and mentor a new graduate, or support an experienced doctor. Scheduling can be flexible, but full-time doctors typically work 4 days per week.
