Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide compassionate care and support to individuals in need. The ideal candidate will have experience in various healthcare settings such as PICU, Medical-surgical, Outpatient, Geriatrics, Hospital medicine, and more.
Duties
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Administer medication under the direction of healthcare professionals
- Help with household chores and meal preparation
- Accompany clients to medical appointments and outings
Qualifications
- Previous experience in care settings like Inpatient, Emergency medicine, Teaching hospital, and OR is beneficial
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Empathetic and patient-centered approach to caregiving
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is preferred
