We are looking for highly qualified Test Engineers who are passionate about changing the status quo and bringing health care into the 21st century. As a Test Engineer, you will play a critical role in fulfilling the mission of Tempus by providing secure and high-quality insights for our clients, patients, and partners. Patient care, data quality, and innovative science are foundational principles that require creativity and pragmatism.
Responsibilities:
- You will work closely with the product development team and become the subject matter expert on the systems you own.
- You will collaborate with fellow Test Engineers, Developers, and Product Managers to develop, implement and execute test strategy for systems you own.
- You will be responsible for creating test plans, designing test cases and developing automated tests for the systems you own.
- You will plan team testing activities and support scheduled releases and deployments.
- You will be an advocate for test automation within your teams. You will create automation frameworks and develop automation suites to reduce the manual testing effort and to increase efficiency.

Qualifications:
Experience:
- 3 years of experience with Unit, Integration, API, UI and Performance Automation testing tools and frameworks.
- 3 years of experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, XP, etc.).
- 3 years of experience with Continuous Integration, Deployment, and Delivery.
- 3 years of experience in the entire Testing Lifecycle. This includes designing, executing, and leading software quality activities such as test case management, automated testing, release support and more.
- 3 years of experience with issue tracking tools like JIRA.
- 3 years experience at a growth-stage startup or established technology company preferred.
Required skills:
- Prior experience building technical solutions with Continuous Integration tooling, Docker, and Infrastructure-as-a-Service.
- Prior experience to Service Oriented Architectures.
- Coding experience with Javascript/Typescript and/or Python.
- Prior work experience in a multi-cloud environment.
