Job Summary
Walk-On's Sports Bistreaux is a full-service casual dining sports bar known for its energetic gameday atmosphere, scratch-made food, and unmatched hospitality. We are seeking a creative and strategic Marketing and Social Media Coach to join our admin team and help us drive brand awareness and sales through effective marketing strategies and social media engagement for our nine Walk-On’s locations. This is a hybrid position, that requires routine travel throughout the Greater Baton Rouge area, with occasional travel to southeast Texas.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Develop and Implement Marketing Plans: Create and execute comprehensive marketing plans that align with Walk-On's goals and objectives. Continuously monitor and adjust strategies to ensure maximum effectiveness.
- Manage Marketing Budgets: Oversee each restaurant’s marketing budget ensuring all campaigns and activities are cost-effective and within budget. Work hand-in-hand with restaurant leadership.
- Event Planning and Promotion: Schedule, organize, and promote events and activities that drive sales and enhance brand visibility. Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure successful execution. Attendance at special events, which may occur during evening or weekend hours.
- Social Media Management: Develop and execute social media strategies across various platforms to increase engagement and followers. Create and curate content that resonates with our target audience.
- Brand Awareness: Implement initiatives to enhance brand recognition and loyalty. Monitor brand perception and make recommendations for improvement.
- Reporting: Track and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns and social media activities. Provide regular reports and insights to senior management.
- Collaboration: Work closely with restaurant leadership, Walk-On’s Enterprise marketing and other departments such as operations and culinary teams, to ensure cohesive and effective marketing efforts.
- Stay Updated: Keep up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in marketing and social media, particularly within the restaurant industry.

· Ability to travel to restaurant locations in the Louisiana and Texas markets
· Proficiency in social media platforms and tools.
· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe and other industry-specific programs.
· Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Proven experience in marketing and social media management, preferably in the restaurant or hospitality industry.
