We are currently interviewing for a full-time salon receptionist (House Lead) for our Naperville location.
*** Job Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/G.E.D.
- 1 years of salon or retail experience as receptionist/front desk
- GREAT people and communication skills, along with a passion for customer service, making connections and nurturing relationships
- Experience developing and managing a results driven, quality focused team
- Experience with Meevo software a PLUS!
ObjectiveThe salon receptionist (House Lead) is a key element in the success of our house. He/she must work closely with the House Manager so the operations of the business do not skip a beat in their absence. He/she will support the House Manager by having certain duties delegated to them, such as but not limited to: oversee and execute certain store operations, team schedules, inventory & hospitality. The House Lead will work closely with the House Manager & be held accountable for achieving goals & empowering their team to reach individual and team incentives, along with ensuring the culture & brand are being promoted within their local community.
Salon Receptionist (House Lead):
- Becomes an expert in all Ten Friends operational procedures
- Masters our POS system and other reservation procedures
- Communicates in an upbeat & positive manner with guests and other team members
- Naturally builds lasting and meaningful relationships with our guests
- Conducts walk-in tours to new guests
- Super knowledgeable on our brand, services and membership program
- Has a knack for discovering growth opportunity for the store
- Assists Manager in how to control and grow the store's monthly P/L through timekeeping & payroll, inventory & shrinkage, service & retail sales, ordering levels, etc.)
- Maintains communication with the House Manager and Executive Team regarding celebrations and/or challenges
- Possesses leadership skills that inspires & supports a team based atmosphere
- Assists staff in completing the service experience by complimenting their work, suggesting Take Home products, and rebooking the guest for their next reservations
- Acts as a cheerleader and mentor to stylists and maintains professional relationships
- Assists Manager in proper staffing by managing employee schedules, including scheduled time off
- Maintains a beautiful personal image as well as the beautiful appearance of the hospitality area and service desk

Salon Schedule: Tuesday-Friday 9am-6pm, Saturday 8am-6pm
