Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Child Care Teacher to join our team. This role is essential in providing a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for children. Positions Available
We are currently hiring multiple childcare teachers for assistant and float roles. Our center is a large center that provides daycare and preschool services to children newborn through 5th grade. The open positions are in multiple age groups/classes.
Duties
- Create and implement engaging lesson plans that promote learning through play and exploration.
- Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times.
- Observe and assess children's development, providing feedback to parents as needed.
- Facilitate age-appropriate activities that encourage creativity, critical thinking, and social skills.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively, using positive reinforcement techniques.
- Collaborate with other staff members to maintain a cohesive educational environment.
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress and attendance.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's development and any concerns.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles.
- Experience working with students in a childcare or educational setting.
- First aid certification is preferred to ensure the safety of all children.
- Ability to educate children on various subjects while making learning fun and engaging.
- Experience with toddler care is highly valued.
- Skills in behavior management to create a positive classroom atmosphere.
- Previous experience as a nanny or in similar roles is an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
