Position Overview

As a Server at Ten Rooms Ybor, you will be an essential part of our distinguished dining experience, delivering exceptional service to discerning guests who expect nothing less than perfection. Your professionalism, attention to detail, and extensive knowledge of our menu and wine offerings will contribute to the restaurant's continued recognition and reputation. Your dedication to providing personalized, attentive, and memorable service will ensure that each guest's visit is a culinary journey to remember.

Duties / Responsibilities

Guest Welcome: Extend a warm and gracious welcome to guests, escorting them to their tables with elegance and professionalism. Guiding guests through our unique Ten Rooms experience with enthusiasm and grace.

Menu Expertise: Possess in-depth knowledge of our menu, including the preparation, ingredients, and dietary options, to guide, and educate guests effectively. Able to describe menu items highlighting unique ingredients, flavor profiles, and our extensive selection of handcrafted cocktails.

Handcrafted Cocktails and Wine Knowledge: Demonstrate a deep understanding of our wine and beverage offerings, confidently making recommendations to enhance guest dining experience. Share knowledge of our unique cocktail creations, showcasing the skill and creativity of our mixologists. Offer expert guidance on wine and beverage selections, matching wines with guests' preferences and menu choices.

Order Taking: Accurately record guest orders, paying close attention to special requests, allergies, and dietary restrictions, ensuring that they are communicated effectively to the kitchen. Implement selling techniques, promoting additional menu items, specials, and indulgent desserts to enhance guest experience.

Tableside Service: Execute flawless tableside service, including wine presentation, decanting, and carving, creating a captivating and immersive dining experience. Possess exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, connecting effortlessly with guests creating a welcoming atmosphere.

Timing and Pacing: Coordinate the timing of courses with the kitchen to ensure that each guest's meal is served promptly and at the ideal temperature.

Service Excellence: Provide attentive and unobtrusive service, anticipating guests' needs, and responding promptly to any requests, ensuring an impeccable dining experience.

Table Maintenance: Monitor and maintain table settings, ensuring a pristine and aesthetically pleasing dining environment throughout the meal. Anticipate guests' needs, ensuring timely delivery of drinks, courses, and any additional requests.

Billing and Payment: Process bills accurately and efficiently, accepting payments and offering change, all while providing gracious and discreet service.

Guest Farewell: Bid guests farewell with genuine appreciation and ensure that they depart with a lasting impression of exceptional service. Continuously strive to exceed guests' expectations, going above and beyond to create magical moments that leave a lasting impression.

Team Collaboration: Collaborate seamlessly with culinary team and other staff to ensure smooth service flow, synchronization of courses, and promptly addressing any concerns or modifications. Assisting fellow servers to foster a positive and supportive teamwork environment.

Professional Presentation: Maintain a polished appearance, adhering to dress code and grooming standards, to reflect the elegance and sophistication of Ten Rooms.

Participate in building Ten Rooms Culture: A concept where each department within an organization cultivates its own unique atmosphere and characteristics, contributing collectively to the overall organizational culture.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience as a server in a high-end or upscale culinary establishment is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of food and wine, including menu items, preparation methods, and wine pairings.
• High school diploma or equivalent education
