Location: Plantsville, Connecticut (No remote/hybrid options available)

Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Field Engineer with a strong background in heavy civil or marine engineering, specifically in heavy construction such as bridges and highways. The position is based out of our Plantsville office in Connecticut, with no remote work options. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about building a long-term career in engineering and aspiring to become a Project Manager in the future.

Key Qualifications:

  • Experience: 2-5 years of hands-on experience working on DOT/Heavy Civil Highway or Marine Construction projects.
  • Education: Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Certification: EIT (Engineer in Training) and a strong desire to advance to Project Management after gaining sufficient experience.
  • Project Experience: Must have a minimum of 2 years working for an engineering company on projects specifically related to marine or heavy civil construction (bridge and tunnel work). Internship experience alone is not sufficient.

  • Someone who meets all the non-negotiable qualifications and is ready to make an immediate impact.
  • Candidates who have only interned will not be considered; a minimum of 2 years of professional experience is required.
